History

Fischer Insurance has been family staffed and operated since 1969, when Keith Fischer opened the doors. Now, over 40 years later, the Fischer Insurance Agency continues its long-term commitment to helping protect Northern Michigan.

In 1994, Keith sold the agency to his son, Joe, who along with his wife, Tammy; have worked to put their 32 years of insurance experience to work to expand the agency. Fischer Insurance now has offices in Bellaire, Mancelona and Elk Rapids, covering all of Northern Michigan.
